The Rodman Lion
Don Rodman’s passion for Africa began with a safari trip he took in the 1970s alongside his wife, Marilyn. During that trip, he captured a photo of a lion that left a lasting impression—he felt a deep connection to it as a symbol of strength and leadership, the true “king of the jungle.” Inspired by that moment, a friend at a marketing agency used Don’s photo to create what would become the iconic Rodman lion logo. Today, the lion represents the dealership’s identity, while safari animal elements throughout the dealership serve as a lasting tribute to his love for Africa.
